Storyboarding is usually a necessary service performed behind the scenes for complex animations and websites and takes shape in the form of rough thumbnail sketches to explore possibilities. However, storyboarding can easily be expanded into a bespoke service offered to clients who need quick visual representations of animations or even interactive works that need to be 'roughed out' in a concept form before a lot of money is spent on the creative.

Strong traditional drawing skills allow Ray Dale to work as an individual or interactively within a group of people to sketch out ideas and formulate a storyboard. Those hand drawn sketches can then be taken into post production and 'finished' in applications such as Photoshop or Illustrator if necessary.
